In the video, Jung Jun-won, in response to the question "The most important life lesson I learned last year," revealed his difficult feelings, saying, "Actually, up until just before Resident Playbook was about to open, that period felt like the hardest time in my life. The work we do really requires a lot of luck and, anyway, you have to be chosen, so even before being cast in this project I wondered, 'Am I someone who really shouldn't do this job (acting)?' I even thought, 'I guess I'm someone who can't make it.'"
He recalled, "Anyway, if it's something you love and you don't give up, opportunities come. But I can't tell that to others because I don't think it applies to everyone. I was really miraculously lucky to be like this, and sometimes my juniors or younger colleagues ask me about those things. When they ask, 'Should I quit?' I think they're not asking because they want to hear 'Then quit' but because they want comfort. They want to hear things like, 'Keep going to the end, you're good at it.' I couldn't bring myself to say that. I was afraid it would become false hope, and I'd become a very irresponsible person. Still, I felt like because I didn't give up on what I love, a gift-like time came, so since the opportunity was given, I should be more confident and work harder. That was big for me."
In response, Ha Ji Young asked, "Isn't there a period of waiting that all actors go through when it's tough? After overcoming that, now that you are who you are, how do you feel?" Jung Jun-won said, "I'm very grateful. It's such a miraculous moment because what I dreamed of is actually coming true, and I feel thankful."
When asked, "Facing a new period called 'A Bona fide Killer,' you must feel some burden about it," Jung Jun-won candidly expressed concern, saying, "Resident Playbook was a character that drew focus, so there was that, but this time I have no experience with this kind of role. In a way, it's like being put on a judge's stand to be examined for the first time. Honestly, that worries me a lot."
