Starship Entertainment and Japan's Amuse presented the joint global boy group AEN, which held its debut ceremony.
AEN released their debut mini album '[A NEW ERA OF NOW]' simultaneously in Korea and Japan on the 5th and unveiled the music video for the title track 'X to Z (Next to me)', making a sudden entry into the music scene.
AEN, which means "a new generation that redefines and creates this moment," is a seven-member multinational group made up of four Korean members and three Japanese members.
The released music video for the title track 'X to Z' begins with member Haru's Japanese narration and depicts a mysterious narrative of tracking an "invisible presence." A special setting in which time slows down, secret spaces within a building and futuristic direction that evokes urban agents are woven together with rapidly unfolding rock sounds to provide immersion.
The performance features precise synchronized choreography and striking point gestures, led by a hand-shaking choreography in which the seven members form X and Z with their hands, and movements that tilt the head while tracing the neckline. They executed a variety of concepts, from the charisma of all-black suits to natural styling.
The debut title track 'X to Z (Next to me)' is an electronic rock fusion genre combining electric guitar and synth bass, expressing the aspiration to cross any boundary and stay by each other's side.
Meanwhile, on the album release day AEN held a live broadcast in Japan for a special first meeting with global fans. In addition to directly introducing the total of 10 tracks recorded in Korean and Japanese versions, they also showcased friendly charm with their cheerful teamwork.
