Group TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Yeonjun woke up New York's morning with a live performance.
On the 5th (local time), Yeonjun took the stage at ABC's Good Morning America-hosted 'Summer Concert Series' in New York's Central Park, opening the glamorous chapter of his local solo activities.
That day the venue was packed with fans who had gathered from the early dawn to see Yeonjun. In particular, Yeonjun proved his singular status by becoming only the second Korean solo artist after BTS member Jeongguk to stand on that stage.
That day Yeonjun appeared wearing a custom stage outfit specially made by luxury brand Miu Miu for the first Korean male artist, instantly capturing attention.
Yeonjun showcased a free groove with the mini album no. 2 track "Vanilla," followed by the title track "Ice Cream" and "Talk to You," and closed with his first solo mixtape "GGUM" (껌). Even amid high-difficulty choreography, he led local audiences in mass singing with unwavering vocal power and overwhelming stage manner.
Immediately after the performance, Yeonjun delivered his impressions through his agency BigHit Music, saying, "I was happy to be able to perform feeling the heat of the audience filling Central Park," and "I will use the warm energy received today as nourishment to show even better activities going forward."
After successfully finishing the stage, Yeonjun will begin with the public radio SiriusXM and on the 6th will be invited as the first Korean singer to perform on the outdoor concert Z100 Summer Bash hosted by radio station Z100.
He will continue a relentless schedule in the United States, including a solo Billboard special live "Billboard: One Night Only" on the 12th and a first-pitch and performance at the Los Angeles Dodgers' "Korean heritage night" on the 13th.
