Actor Ha-young revealed heartwarming anecdotes about co-star Jung Haein and bold promises from the Netflix new series "Our Sticky Love."
On the May 5 broadcast of SBS PowerFM's "Wendy's Youngstreet," where she appeared as a guest, Ha-young shared behind-the-scenes stories from the Netflix series "Our Sticky Love," which is set to be released on Aug. 7.
"Our Sticky Love" is a romantic comedy that depicts the spectacular cohabitation of prosecutor Go Eun-sae (played by Ha-young), who has amnesia, and boxing coach Jang Tae-ha (played by Jung Haein), who claims to be her boyfriend.
That day Ha-young described the work as "a gift set-like production that mixes rom-com, melodrama and noir," and said, "I was surprised when I first heard the title, but I found it so fun that I read the script through in one sitting," showing special affection.
Regarding the chemistry with her co-star Jung Haein, she smiled and said, "As an acting partner he is 1,000 points out of 100," and "I learned so much on set that I felt like I had taken acting lessons."
Anecdotes about Jung Haein continued. Ha-young revealed an episode in which Jung Haein personally paid for an expensive crab dinner for all the staff during the Yeongdeok location shoot, warming the studio.
When a listener asked about a promise for a global No. 1 ranking, he made a shocking pledge, saying, "If the series reaches No. 1 on Netflix's global chart, I will personally boil taffy and hand it out in Myeong-dong," which surprised those on site and produced cheerful laughter.
Also, Ha-young showcased her overflowing charm by performing an a cappella live of Space A's "Sexy Man," her favorite song and an important plot device in the drama.
Meanwhile, the Netflix series "Our Sticky Love," which raises expectations for the chemistry between Jung Haein and Ha-young, will be released worldwide on Aug. 7.<
