The group Stray Kids shared their thoughts on the Grammy Awards in the United States.
Stray Kids held a press conference to celebrate the release of their new mini album 'THIS & THAT' on the afternoon of the 6th at the Conrad Seoul Grand Ballroom in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and talked about the new album.
Earlier, BTS drew intense attention by saying they would not submit entries to next year's Grammy Awards. Stray Kids have also been receiving strong love in the United States, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 and sending eight consecutive releases to the top spot.
Asked about the Grammy issue, Seungmin said the conversations about the music they like or about performance aspects come from inside their true feelings rather than from outward perspectives, and because they make music based on those inner stories, they feel they are conveying the colors they want rather than feeling external scrutiny.
He added, "So we are also very grateful that the large genre of K-pop is receiving such great love worldwide. We have been reminded once again of the power of music. We realize that music as a medium is having a very positive influence on many people, and we are trying to ensure that the music we create reaches as many people as possible."
