'Flex x Cop' season 1 final villain Kwak Si-yang heralds the start of season 2.
The new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Flex x Cop 2', which premieres on the 7th (produced by Studio S, Big Ocean E&M, BA Entertainment), is a cooperative investigative drama in which chaebol detective Jin Yi-soo, who overturns cases with his wealth when investigations stall, and new Head of Team Joo Hye-ra use money-driven tactics for a cheerful·refreshing·satisfying partnership.
In particular, season 2 draws attention with a dazzling special-appearance lineup including Yoo Seungho, Kim Eui-sung, Lee Hak-ju, Heo Sung-tae, Jung Chaeyeon, Jeon Hye-bin and Kim Hye-eun, and season 1's final villain Kwak Si-yang also lends his strength.
Earlier in season 1, Jin Seung-ju, who Kwak Si-yang passionately portrayed, was a reliable half-brother to the reckless third-generation chaebol Jin Yi-soo and was a capable aide who stepped forward to solve problems whenever Jin Yi-soo was in trouble, winning great love from viewers. However, in the latter part of the series, a shocking twist revealed that Jin Seung-ju was the final villain who drove Jin Yi-soo's parents to death.
In released season 2 stills, Jin Seung-ju appears in the prison visiting room and instantly draws attention. His gaunter appearance in a prison uniform creates a markedly different atmosphere from the past when he led Hansoo Group in a neat suit.
Because Kwak Si-yang raised the drama's tension to its peak with a powerful villain performance backed by solid acting, viewers are curious to see what kind of presence he will bring in this season, which promises an even stronger "villain specialty."
