The group 82MAJOR will make a comeback to the music scene on Sept. 1.
82MAJOR (Nam Seong-mo, Park Seok-jun, Yoon Ye-chan, Jo Seong-il, Hwang Seong-bin, Kim Do-gyun) officially confirmed their comeback by releasing a visual film video for their second single "HEAT" on their official social media on the 5th. It is their first new release in about five months since the mini album 5 "FEELM," released last April.
The released visual film captures attention from the opening with a building bearing the red letters "82club" and a solemn, hip beat.
In the video, the members appear with facial wounds and bandages, training as if preparing for a decisive confrontation and raising tension with scenes of them facing off against each other. Then the album title "HEAT" is stamped in red letters, leaving a strong impression.
After the mood shifts, members dressed in all-black suits appear to be searching for the missing member Kim Do-gyun. Finally after Kim Do-gyun joins them, the six members stare at the camera with expressionless faces, suggesting a cinematic narrative and piquing curiosity.
Known as a "performance-oriented idol," 82MAJOR set a personal best first-week sales record with "FEELM" last April and proved their global growth by ranking No. 9 on Billboard's list of the 25 best K-pop songs of 2026 with the title track "Sign." They also proved their popularity by selling out solo concerts and fan concerts overseas in Seoul, Macau, Hong Kong and Bangkok.
82MAJOR's second single "HEAT," which hints at a radical concept change, will be released simultaneously worldwide through various online music sites at 6 p.m. on Sept. 1.<
