Choa, formerly of the group Crayon Pop, shared an update that she is undergoing regular checkups after overcoming cervical cancer.
Choa posted photos of her visit to the hospital on her social media on the 3rd. In the photos she is wearing a hat and mask, holding medical documents and looking at the camera.
The photo included the caption "I have a follow-up test today so I'm at Severance since the morning. I'll get tested well and go back home!!", indicating she visited the hospital for a routine checkup.
Choa has been open about her battle with illness and her pregnancy process, receiving much support.
She was diagnosed with cervical cancer while preparing for pregnancy, but after undergoing fertility-preserving surgery she attempted in vitro fertilization. She then succeeded in becoming pregnant with twins and on Feb. 28 she welcomed two healthy sons.
Having gone through difficult times including marriage, childbirth and cancer treatment, fans continued to offer support with this update. Fans responded with comments such as "I hope the test results are good," "Health is always the top priority," and "I hope she is happy with the twins for a long time."
Meanwhile, Choa married a businessman who is six years her senior in 2021, and she currently raises her twin sons while sharing childcare and daily life on social media.
