The group WHIB returns determined to show the color of limitless growth.
WHIB (Kim Junmin, Haseung, Jinbeom, Ugeon, Lee Jeong, Jaeha, Wonjun) will release their second mini album 'CHERRY PIE (체리 파이)' at 6 p.m. on the 5th through various online music sites.
The second mini album 'CHERRY PIE (체리 파이)' is an album that captures WHIB's journey to find their own color, and the title track "CHERRY PIE" is a song that blends an addictive melody with a sensuous beat. WHIB's characteristically bright yet energetic vocals and dynamic performance come together to heighten the song's immersion.
In particular, the album includes a total of five tracks, including songs that members Junmin, Haseung and Ugeon directly participated in writing and composing, as well as the previously unreleased song "Make It," which was first shown at their debut showcase and received requests for an official release.
Ahead of their comeback, WHIB said, "We are very excited and nervous to be releasing our second mini album first. While we will show a different color from our first mini album, we hope it becomes an album that many people can enjoy."
If the previous album was proof, this album is one for AnD (the fandom name) to enjoy youth, WHIB said, "During the hiatus, each member worked hard to improve their individual skills, and because we talked a lot with the members during the process of preparing the album, our teamwork naturally improved, and the more albums we release, the more we can show our growth."
Regarding the title track "CHERRY PIE," WHIB explained, "It's a cute and sweet-feeling song. We have a performance where we cut the pie into four and place a cherry on each person's pie."
WHIB said their goal is to receive the nickname "eight-color chameleon." For this album they hope for a growth that includes a No. 1 on music shows and noticeable progress in music chart results, and they added, "To our beloved AnDs, thank you so much for waiting for a long time, and we worked hard to show a fun side of us, so please enjoy it a lot."
