Singer Lee Hi's world tour was canceled in full four days before opening. The agency said it followed a unilateral cancellation notice from the tour promoter and signaled legal action.
Lee Hi and the agency 808 Hi Recordings said on the 4th via their official social media that "on the 2nd we were notified by the tour promoter of the cancellation of all city dates for 'Lee Hi & 808 Hi Recordings World Tour 2026' and the start of audience refunds."
The agency said, "This cancellation is not due to the artist's decision or fault," and added, "To proceed with the shows, we extended the payment deadline multiple times and requested fulfillment of contractual obligations, but the promoter unilaterally notified the tour's cancellation without completing payment and necessary preparations."
It added, "We sincerely apologize to all the fans who waited for the tour," and noted, "We plan to pursue the necessary legal procedures regarding this matter."
Ticket refunds will be processed through each ticketing outlet.
Lee Hi had initially planned to launch the world tour on the 8th in Singapore and visit 10 cities including Jakarta, Manila, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taiwan, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Auckland.
