"Flex x Cop 2" Ahn Bo-hyun has returned.
On the 4th, SBS' "Flex x Cop 2" released about a 3-minute Highlight video ahead of its first broadcast.
In the Highlight video, it announces the return of Jin I-su (Ahn Bo-hyun), a wealthy chaebol and perceptive detective known as the "chaebol detective." Jin I-su boasts his uniquely irresistible attention-seeking charm, saying, "I've tried everything and played around with everything, but this is my calling." In particular, to catch criminals, he mobilizes a private jet, supercar and even real estate transactions, foreshadowing an intensified, money-driven investigative approach.
At this point, a new boss, Joo Hye-ra (Jung Eun-Chae), who will display a "hate-love chemistry" with Jin I-su, appears. Joo Hye-ra, a former instructor who disciplined I-su during police academy days, appears and immediately gives Jin I-su an "evil instructor trauma," saying, "You weirdo, didn't I tell you not to cause trouble?" The sight of third-generation chaebol Jin I-su's timid rebellion having no effect produces laughter.
Afterwards, the two are shown building camaraderie as they go through a variety of cases together. In particular, their growth is depicted in the scene where Joo Hye-ra beams and shouts, "Admitting the cheat code," at Jin I-su, who blows through difficult investigations with a high pass.
Moreover, the chemistry between them raises more curiosity in the scene showing Jin I-su, who has quietly grown into a reliable partner, saying, "Leader Joo just uses me. I'll do anything," and standing by her.
Meanwhile, season 2 also teases the presence of new villains that the Violent Crimes Unit 1 will sweep away, heightening interest. Among them, Joo Hye-ra says, "There's someone we need to catch," and keeps a close eye on the mysterious chaebol Yoo Seung-ho (Yoo Seungho). Yoo Seungho is shown smiling warmly in front of his close brother I-su, then suddenly turning to a cold, ice-like glare, leaving questions about his identity.
Amid the increasingly devious villains' crimes, Violent Crimes Unit 1 and Jin I-su are shown pushed into a corner, and Yoo Seungho's confident line, "Can you catch me?" adds tension. But Violent Crimes Unit 1 stimulates dopamine with a bold spirit, saying, "Perfect crime? There's no such thing," and Jin I-su also declares, "Watch how far I can go." Expectations are rising for the more thrilling return of "Flex x Cop 2."
Meanwhile, the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Flex x Cop 2" will premiere at 9:50 p.m. on the 7th.
