Comedian Kim Won-hun said he lost 24 million won just two weeks after starting stock investing.
Netflix Korea on the 3rd released the trailer for the variety show "Rookie Kim's Stock Market Mission" on its official YouTube channel.
In the video, Kim Won-hun said, "It's almost the price of a car that disappeared," and "I lost 24 million won." When asked about his seed money, he said, "180 million won," adding, "For someone who has done stocks for two weeks, the seed is a bit large, right."
Kim said, "When I start, I go all-in. When I get hooked on something, this is what happens," adding, "That's why I don't play mobile games."
He went on, "I averaged down way too much. It's almost like I came back from a waterbomb," and "I lived under pressure and obsession that I had to keep lowering my average purchase price."
Kim Won-hun said, "I'm talking with a smile, but it was really serious," adding, "I became exhausted and lost about 2 kilograms. I had no appetite or drive, and wherever I went I ended up walking around like a zombie."
"Rookie Kim's Stock Market Mission" is a variety show that follows Kim Won-hun, who had no investing experience, as he jumps into the stock market himself, and it was released on Netflix on the 3rd.
