The group BOYNEXTDOOR continued to go viral worldwide and surpassed 1 billion cumulative streams.
KOZ Entertainment said on the 5th, "BOYNEXTDOOR surpassed a cumulative 1,001,140,000 streams as of the 3rd on Spotify by adding up the play counts of all the songs they have released so far."
BOYNEXTDOOR debuted on May 30, 2023, and has released five mini albums and one full-length album to date. This means they added the 1 billion streaming record in about three years since debut.
In particular, BOYNEXTDOOR has charted on the U.S. Billboard main album chart, the "Billboard 200," with all the albums they have released so far, and showed steady growth, starting at No. 162 with mini album 1 "WHY.." and most recently entering at No. 16 with full-length album 1 "HOME." They are the only boy group that debuted within the past five years to have six consecutive albums chart, confirming their influence in the global market.
