Amid the sudden cancellation of singer Lee Hi's world tour, her side said the artist is not at fault.
Lee Hi's agency 808 HI RECORDINGS said on its official channel on Aug. 4, "On Aug. 2, 2026, we were notified by tour promoter KINO WHITE TOURING KOREA INC. of the cancellation of all city performances of the LEEHI & 808 HI RECORDINGS WORLD TOUR 2026 and the start of ticket refund procedures. This cancellation was not the artist's decision or due to the artist's fault," it said in an official statement.
It added, "We extended payment deadlines several times and requested fulfillment of contractual obligations to proceed with the performances, but the promoter notified us of the tour cancellation without completing payment and the necessary preparations."
Lee Hi's side asked that inquiries about ticket refunds and detailed matters caused by this concert cancellation be directed to the point of sale.
It added, "We sincerely apologize to everyone who waited for the tour, and we plan to pursue the necessary legal procedures regarding this matter."
