The group CORTIS demonstrated formidable global ticket power by selling out all seats for their first solo Japan shows, following Korea and North America.
According to agency BigHit Music on the 4th, CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho)'s first tour "2026 CORTIS TOUR IN JAPAN" sold out all performances. The shows, running from Sept. 4 to 6 at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa, Japan, saw fierce competition in both fan club lotteries and general ticket sales, and even the additionally opened standing tickets sold out at lightning speed.
With this, CORTIS set a major record by selling out all dates of their first tour: 14 shows across 9 cities. Beginning with the opening performance held in July at Incheon Inspire Arena, the North American and Seoul shows scheduled for August were also sold out early during pre-sale. For a rookie that debuted less than a year ago, this extraordinary streak of sellouts demonstrated their overwhelming momentum on the global stage.
CORTIS will begin today (the 4th, local time) in Toronto, Canada, and tour major North American cities including New York, Atlanta, Irving, Los Angeles and San Francisco, delivering their signature high-energy performances. Then on Aug. 22 and 23 they will hold a debut first anniversary "2026 CORTIS TOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY" at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul to share a meaningful time with fans.
Meanwhile, CORTIS recently performed at Lollapalooza Chicago, the United States' largest music festival, as the only K-pop boy group this year, prompting 50,000 attendees to sing along, and their mini-album 2 title track "REDRED" has entered Spotify's "Daily Top Songs Global" chart for 100 consecutive days, continuing their upward trend across online and offline platforms.
