The group Big Bang raised global music fans' expectations to a peak by releasing a logo motion that heralds the official start of a large-scale world tour commemorating their 20th debut anniversary.
YG Entertainment on the 4th released the logo motion for 'BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR 'XX : COSMOS'' on its official SNS. This video, in which the trajectory of light and a heavy sound in pitch-black darkness blend together, offers an overwhelming immersion reminiscent of a sci-fi movie trailer.
In particular, the logo, which precisely visualizes the infinity (∞) shape with refined visuals, three-dimensionally unfolded Big Bang's worldview contained in the tour title. It simultaneously implies the number '20,' symbolizing the 20th debut anniversary, and infinite expandability, and here 'COSMOS(코스모스),' meaning connection and continuity, is combined to concisely express the strong bond built with fans over the past 20 years and the new journey to unfold ahead.
This world tour, realized after about nine years, carries special meaning considering the significant footprints Big Bang has left in the history of K-pop performances. Previously, they set unprecedented global records, including the 'ALIVE GALAXY' tour that expanded the radius of K-pop tours worldwide, drawing the largest audience for a single tour (1.5 million people), and becoming the first foreign artist to hold a six-dome tour in Japan. Returning at the monumental point of their 20th debut anniversary, an evolved performance that compiles accumulated musical capabilities and concert know-how is expected.
Meanwhile, Big Bang opens the tour with 'BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR 'XX : COSMOS' IN GOYANG' presented with Coupang Play at Goyang Sports Complex for three days from the 21st to the 23rd. Big Bang, which proved its continuing influence by selling out all seats across three performances including additionally opened seats, will begin a tour of 33 shows across 19 cities worldwide and plans to announce additional host regions later.
