The 14th Busan International Comedy Festival (BICF), held from the 21st to the 30th, features 52 overseas acts from nine countries.
France's leading visual comedian Patrick Cottet Moinet's "Mime de Rien (MIME DE RIEN)" will come to audiences. A performance that vividly depicts various professions and characters with minimal speech and refined gestures, it stimulates the imagination.
The world-class magicians' ensemble "Double (Double)" will also appear. FISM world magic champion Norbert Ferré and his assistant, European magic champion Charlie Mag, and Korea's representative comedy magician Kim Min-hyeong will perform with a special chemistry.
"Japan Nonverbal Live G Team" delivers pure laughter that transcends linguistic limits. Japan's proud trio of artists Moriya-su Bangbang Bigaro, Mr. Oguchi and Kinoshita Jaku plan to present a colorful stage spanning juggling, magic and balance art genres.
Meanwhile, "Bucope" is Asia's first international comedy festival and has contributed to spreading comedy culture and expanding citizens' opportunities to enjoy culture over the past 14 years.
