Actor Jung Eun-Chae shared her thoughts on joining Flex x Cop 2.
On the morning of the 4th at the SBS building in Mokdong, Yangcheon District, Seoul, the production presentation for the new Friday-Saturday drama Flex x Cop season 2 was held, where director Kim Jae-hong and actors Ahn Bo-hyun, Jung Eun-Chae, Kang Sang Jun and Kim Shin-bi attended to discuss the project.
Flex x Cop 2 is a breezy, refreshing and satisfying joint investigation drama in which wealthy detective Jin I-su (Ahn Bo-hyun), who overturns cases with financial power when investigations stall, and new Head of Team Joo Hye-ra (Jung Eun-Chae) spend money to get results, and director Kim Jae-hong and writer Kim Ba-da, who built the distinctive world of the FLEX investigation series, have reunited to present an even more expanded universe.
Actor Jung Eun-Chae is newly joining for this season 2. Jung Eun-Chae, who appears as Joo Hye-ra, said she was the only newly added member and was curious how this drama, with its lively rhythm following season 1, would expand and proceed. She added that she chose to join because she heard all the team members worked well together and she wanted to experience that.
Jung Eun-Chae explained, "She is the Head of Team coming into Gangha Police Station, and in the past she and Jin I-su formed a mentor-mentee relationship at the police academy. There is a story where I acted as the strict instructor who kept him in line. Starting from that friction, they evolve into a very cool cooperative partnership."
Asked in what ways the teamwork was good, Jung Eun-Chae confessed, "As a new member joining, I had some worries and concerns about adapting. But to my surprise, all the actors, staff and the director welcomed me, and they created a stage where I could act to my heart's content, so it was a very happy time."
Meanwhile, SBS' Flex x Cop 2 will premiere on the 7th at 9:50 p.m.
