The younger sister of TWICE member Jihyo, Seoyon, has confirmed her debut in HYBE's new girl group, drawing attention.
On the 3rd, HYBE Music Group's new label ABD officially confirmed the debut of their first girl group, TUIDE (TUIDE).
According to the agency, TUIDE will release their first mini album [TUNE & PLAY] at 6 p.m. on the 24th and make their official debut.
The group name "TUIDE (TUIDE)" was inspired by the English phrase "Tune the tide," which means "to adjust the flow." It expresses the bold ambition to experience the world's various currents and trends, tune them into their own frequency, and offer the public new enjoyment and musical pleasure.
TUIDE is a seven-member rookie group composed entirely of teenage girls born between 2006 and 2011. In particular, the group is made up of members from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan, maximizing multinational synergy. The agency plans to target the diverse tastes of global K-pop fandoms by combining the fresh charm unique to teenagers with the distinct personalities of members from different cultural spheres.
Among the members who drew the most public attention with the debut news that day was undoubtedly Seoyon. Born in 2008, Seoyon gained early buzz as Jihyo of TWICE's youngest sister.
