He added that unlike the textbook explanation that social media development has made communication possible anytime, anywhere, the current era seems to lack communication and be full of one-way comments, with understanding and consideration disappearing. He said it is regrettable to see that even in educational settings, where many issues could be resolved through sufficient dialogue, a culture of reporting has become prevalent, making it frequently difficult to restore relationships amid an atmosphere of extreme, overheated criticism.

As Woni recently gained public attention through the YouTube channel helloiamwoninicetomeetyou and enjoyed surging popularity — including a reverse climb to No. 1 with LOVE ATTACK and a first music show win with Pretty Girl — the bully rumor rapidly spread amid intense interest.
Then an account called 'Woni homeroom teacher' newly appeared and posted a rebuttal to the 'bully rumor.' The account owner was the teacher who had been Woni's homeroom teacher in grades 2 and 3 at Okpo Seongji Middle School; the teacher dismissed the rumor by releasing a handwritten letter and anecdotes that reflected Woni's school life and messages of support from other teachers. In addition, regarding the original accuser's claim that they were in the same dance club as Woni, the teacher expressed astonishment, saying, Woni and 11 of the 12 members born in 2004 of Seongbaem (the dance club name), including Woni, still keep in steady contact and meet. So when the post appeared yesterday in which the person referred to themselves as 'Seongji eel' (Seongji eel is how they self-described), both our students and I were very bewildered.
After Woni's homeroom teacher directly stepped forward to refute the 'bully rumor,' the account that posted the original allegation deleted the post and account and disappeared. The 'Woni homeroom teacher' account had said it was created temporarily to explain the rumor and would be deleted once the situation was resolved. With the accuser gone and public opinion, which had leaned toward the bully rumor, stabilizing, the 'Woni homeroom teacher' account was deleted after that final post.
