An out-of-nowhere divorce rumor shook a couple who are living well. Moreover, because they are a couple who are deeply considering preparing for a second child and continuing their love, the divorce rumor is disconcerting.
Down syndrome writer and actor Seo Eun-hye (formerly Jeong Eun-hye) revealed the truth and her feelings about the divorce rumor on the YouTube channel NiEolgul Eunhye's community on the 31st of last month.
Opening with "we are living well," Seo Eun-hye refuted the fake news about their divorce, saying "it seems fake news and videos claiming that we divorced are spreading, but we love each other and are enjoying working more than ever."
Seo Eun-hye said, "These days it is vacation season, so many customers from across the country are visiting our cafe. A few days ago I even hugged actor Yang Mi-kyung," adding, "Unless something special happens, my husband and I are always at the cafe waiting for customers, painting the commissioned pictures we receive, and whenever we have a moment we are being lovey-dovey."
Dismissing the discord rumors, Seo Eun-hye showed unchanged affection by releasing photos of herself hugging or linking arms with her husband Cho Young Nam.
Seo Eun-hye became known for her role as Han Ji-min's twin older sister in tvN's Our Blues. Previously active under the name Jeong Eun-hye, she changed her name to Seo Eun-hye following her stepfather's surname, and last May she married Cho Young Nam. After marriage she opened a cafe and continues a sweet newlywed life working in the studio prepared inside it.
Their sweet newlywed life included plans for a second child. On SBS's Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny, Seo Eun-hye's mother asked about the second-child plan, saying, "Are you talking about pregnancy?" Jeong Eun-hye would frequently ask Cho Young Nam, "Do you want to have a baby?" and "Do you want to give birth to a baby?" and seeing her nephew made her want to have a child because he was so cute.
However, Cho Young Nam once expressed concern, saying, "Even if the two of us have a baby, it would be difficult to raise the child entirely by ourselves," and showed his feelings, saying, "If a child is born with a disability, you can't leave it to my mother-in-law. If the child is born with a disability, we are older, my mother-in-law is old, there are hospital visits, and we'd feel sorry toward my brother-in-law and my father-in-law."
