'Blanca' character who was very active on 'Bokso Club,' comedian Jeong Cheol-gyu revealed he was bullied by a senior for six years.
On the 2nd, a video titled "Continuous bullying for six years! Drug addiction! I didn't want to live!!" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Namumiki Detective Agency.'
That day Jeong Cheol-gyu said, "That senior must have hated me. Every time I came to the meeting room he told me not to stand out and said things like he'll kill me. 'Don't stand out. You're annoying. I'll kill you. Now get out.' He did this for six years. It was so hard," he lamented.
Jeong Cheol-gyu, who was terrified of going to the comedy evaluations, said that one day during a 'Gag Concert' retreat that senior told him, "If I really did something wrong I'll fix it," but the senior replied, "You didn't do anything wrong. I just don't like you, so get lost," and he said, "I thought there was no answer to this," which surprised people.
Jeong Cheol-gyu said that at the time Shin Bong-Sun, Ahn Young-mi and Park Joonhyung were the ones who at least helped him. Park Joonhyung even tried to mediate, saying, "Stop it. Why are you doing that to (Bl)anca?"
Jeong Cheol-gyu confessed, "The greatest self-loathing came when I felt like a useless person who was not treated well anywhere," and said, "As my mind began to fall I couldn't sleep and took antidepressants and sleeping pills," which evoked sympathy.
Meanwhile, Jeong Cheol-gyu debuted in 2004 as a special recruitment comedian in the 19th class of KBS and performed the foreign worker character 'Blanca,' creating the national catchphrase "Boss, you're bad."
