Group DJ DOC member Lee Ha-neul repeatedly mentioned Kim Chang Youl during the broadcast and urged Jeong Jae-yong to call, but Jeong Jae-yong firmly drew a line.
In a video on Lee Ha-neul's YouTube channel released on the 3rd, Lee Ha-neul and Jeong Jae-yong spent time communicating while reading fans' comments.
In the process, Lee Ha-neul said, "Send a video message to Chang Youl," mentioning Kim Chang Youl, who was at the center of past discord rumors. To this, Jeong Jae-yong laughed and said, "So you know I'm just breathing," then added, "It seems like they're keeping posting comments hoping for this, but I wish they'd stop to a reasonable extent," expressing discomfort at some comments that provoke sensational reactions.
But Lee Ha-neul continued to mention Kim Chang Youl, saying, "Try calling him once," and when Lee Ha-neul urged again, Jeong Jae-yong drew a line, saying, "Do it when you're not broadcasting." As the atmosphere grew somewhat heavy, Lee Ha-neul tried to laugh it off, saying, "Just kidding," but Jeong Jae-yong shot back, "You can't tell the difference between jokes and seriousness," prompting laughter.
Earlier, Lee Ha-neul had mentioned Kim Chang Youl while refuting malicious comments on his channel. He said, "The phrase 'I survived because of Chang Youl' is wrong," and claimed, "I wrote most of DJ DOC's lyrics and composed the songs. Chang Youl has performed with songs I made up to now."
He also said, "During the year preparing the album I was in the studio almost every day, and Chang Youl came to the recording studio about ten days a year. This is a fact."
Meanwhile, Lee Ha-neul and Kim Chang Youl experienced conflict after Lee Ha-neul's younger brother Lee Hyun-bae suddenly passed away in 2021. They later publicly reconciled in 2024, but recently Lee Ha-neul said he had cut off contact again, renewing interest in the relationship between the two.
