Singer HYNN (Park Hye-won) unveiled the tracklist for her new EP, taking aim at the August music scene.
The agency New Order Entertainment opened the tracklist image of HYNN (Park Hye-won)'s new EP "Yeoreumgyeol," which will be released on Aug. 13, on its official SNS channels on the morning of the 3rd, kicking off the countdown to her comeback.
According to the released tracklist, this album doubles down by naming "3 days later" and "It's not like a meteor fell and the end came" as double title tracks, heightening the impact. In addition, "Like a book that saw the last page first," "A certain stranger," and the pre-released and beloved "Practice being the protagonist" from last May are included, totaling five vocal tracks that will richly showcase HYNN (Park Hye-won)'s significantly expanded musical spectrum.
The first title track, "3 days later," is a breakup ballad that fully captures the 1990s R&B retro sensibility. Ballad hit composers Jooho and Rohai participated to raise the completeness, and the song depicts the belatedly surfacing feelings of love after a breakup with HYNN (Park Hye-won)'s delicate yet explosive vocal power, leaving a deep aftertaste.
The other title track, "It's not like a meteor fell and the end came," is a pop R&B ballad carefully crafted by hit producer KZ. Its rhythmic and trendy sound combined with HYNN (Park Hye-won)'s attractive vocal tone is expected to create strong synergy.
Among the additional tracks, "A certain stranger" draws attention as a self-composed song in which HYNN (Park Hye-won) directly participated in writing and composing. Having proven her musical capabilities through steady songwriting work, she conveys a more mature inner story as a singer-songwriter through this song, promising to deliver a weighty emotional impact to music fans.
HYNN (Park Hye-won)'s new EP "Yeoreumgyeol" will be released at 6 p.m. on the 13th across various online music sites. Immediately after the new release, she will continue vigorous activities by holding a summer solo concert, "Midnight Blue : Luna-rium," at Yonsei University auditorium on the 15th and 16th. In particular, at this performance she will not only reveal live stages of the new album tracks for the first time but has also confirmed special guests Yoon Hyuk-jung, Kim Yoo-chan, and Park Jin-ho—stars of Mnet's "Stage Fighter" and beloved as "the idols of the dance world"—to appear, promising added synergy.
