Actor Lee Minho transforms into a rookie reporter armed with passion and grit in the film "Assassin(s)", injecting intense energy into theaters this Chuseok.
On the 3rd, Hive media corp, which produced and distributed the film, released a character still of Lee Minho as "Yeong-il," whose fiery struggle stands out in the film "Assassin(s)" (director Heo Jin-ho), generating buzz as a meeting of trusted, must-see actors representing Korea.
The film "Assassin(s)" depicts the story of persistently tracking the numerous suspicions and the hidden background surrounding the first lady shooting incident on Aug. 15, 1974, which plunged Korea into a huge shock.
Lee Minho, who has led the global K-content wave on the front lines through "Omniscient Reader: The Prophet", "The King : Eternal Monarch", and "The Legend of the Blue Sea" and proved his presence by showing a bold, new face through the "Pachinko" series, is expected to inject diverse vitality into the film by playing Yeong-il, a rookie reporter at Dongseong Daily who is packed with passion and spirit, in "Assassin(s)".
