Actor the late Park Dong-bin's wife Lee Sang Yi returned to her daily life after separating from her husband.
On the 3rd, Lee Sang Yi posted on her social account "Don't be sick, just keep smiling brightly like now..mom is satisfied with that" along with several photos.
In the released photos, Lee Sang Yi revealed her daughter who returned to daycare after about two weeks. Lee Sang Yi said, "Back to daycare after 2 weeks. One week for hand, foot and mouth disease, another week for summer vacation..after the long two weeks of home care, finally to daycare! She was excited to go this morning, and just from the photos the teacher sent, you can tell how happily she spent her time".
She added, "Seeing Jiyu walk in without looking back, mom felt bittersweet for a moment, but on a walk in the park near the daycare she even bravely touched a cicada shell, ran excitedly with friends despite the heat, and during exercise class she wore a passionate expression and worked hard! Have fun playing today too" as encouragement.
Lee Sang Yi's husband, the late Park Dong-bin, was found dead at about 4:25 p.m. on April 29 at a restaurant in a shopping complex in Jangan-dong, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. He was 56.
The place where the late Park Dong-bin collapsed is known to have been a restaurant being prepared to open, and an acquaintance found him dead and reported it to the police. No criminal suspicion was found, and no note clarifying the circumstances was discovered; the cause of death was reported as heart disease.
Meanwhile, Lee Sang Yi met the late Park Dong-bin through the drama "Enemies from a previous life" and they went on to marry. They married in 2020 and have one daughter.
