YouTuber Choi Gogi (real name Choi Beom-gyu) has begun preparing for wedding photography ahead of his remarriage to his girlfriend Lee Joo-eun.
On July 30, a video titled "We set the wedding photo date!" was released on Choi Gogi's YouTube channel. In the video, Choi Gogi announced the wedding photo schedule, saying, "There are two months left until the snap shoot. It's the end of July now, so we will shoot in September."
He then removed his top to check his physical condition and said, "I'm dieting again. I have a lot of belly fat," adding that he would start serious management ahead of the shoot.
With the wedding photo date set, Choi Gogi and Lee Joo-eun's wedding preparations have become more concrete.
Earlier, in an April interview with OSEN, Choi Gogi said, "I think I'll get married this year," and revealed he was planning a wedding in Jeju. He said, "A Jeju wedding isn't like in Seoul where it ends in an hour or two; it's held all day," and added, "I probably won't invite many of my friends; I want to have fun with Joo-eun's family and close people."
He added that they are also considering starting their married life in Jeju, Lee Joo-eun's hometown, or in Busan after the wedding.
Choi Gogi and the three-years-younger Lee Joo-eun started dating in 2022 and have been together for about five years. Lee Joo-eun currently works as a producer helping with Choi Gogi's YouTube shoots, and the two revealed their relationship on the TV CHOSUN variety show "X's private life."
At the time, Choi Gogi said, "We lived together for five years. We spent more time together than in my transfer married life," and expressed confidence toward Lee Joo-eun, saying, "This time I think we can go all the way without falling."
In particular, Lee Joo-eun is known to have lovingly cared for daughter Sol-ip, who was born between Choi Gogi and his ex-wife Yu Kkaet-ip, as if she were her own daughter. Choi Gogi said Sol-ip, who at first called her 'aunt,' now naturally calls Lee Joo-eun "Joo-eun mom."
Choi Gogi married Yu Kkaet-ip and had a daughter, Sol-ip, but divorced in 2020. Afterward, he raised his daughter as a single father, and now, having met a new partner, he is steadily preparing a Jeju wedding and wedding photos as he faces the second act of his life.<
