Seventeen member Seungkwan explained false good-deed stories that used his name.
Seungkwan opened by saying on a live broadcast he held on the 2nd, "Because Carats come first, it's important that there is no harm to Carats."
Previously online, a good-deed story spread that Seungkwan had prepaid 600,000 won at a restaurant in Jeju Island operated by an acquaintance of his and was providing drinks to fans. However, this was not true.
In response, Seungkwan said firmly, "It is not true. I never prepaid," and said he has cut off contact with that acquaintance.
He said in particular, "Some fans actually suffered damage. I can never tolerate fans being harmed," and added, "I don't want things I didn't do to spread like a good-deed story." He also emphasized that the claim that a friend of his would get concert tickets was false.
He said, "The reason the Jeju Island promotional ambassador appointment vlog was taken down is that Carats like visiting the places I went to. Carats may go out of curiosity, but it's stressful when strange good-deed stories come out from there."
He continued, "Even if I sometimes run into someone on the street and pay for a meal, I would never separately prepay like that. If there are Carats who suffered damage in that way, please send an email to the company."
Meanwhile, Seungkwan recently met fans while conducting a live tour together with Dokyeom.
