Actor Lee Dong-ha shared his wife So-jin's reaction to watching "Manager Kim."
On the 28th, at the OSEN building located in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, a closing interview was held for Manager Kim actor Lee Dong-ha.
Lee Dong-ha played Nam, the chief aide to Joo Kang-chan (played by Joo Sang-Wook), chairman of Juhak Construction, showcasing steady acting and explosive action skills that increased the show's immersion.
From the start of "Manager Kim," the support from actress and former Girl's Day member So-jin, his wife, drew attention. So-jin posted on social media herself and left comments on Lee Dong-ha's social media, cheering for "Manager Kim"'s success.
When asked about So-jin's reaction to watching "Manager Kim," Lee Dong-ha said, "First, she enjoyed watching this drama from the first episode so much that she kindly promoted it, and whenever she could watch the original broadcast we watched it together and she said it was really good." He added, "Her cheering made me feel reassured and supported," expressing his gratitude.
When told that he seemed to have been moved by So-jin's support, Lee Dong-ha said, "I was so happy and moved. Meeting my wife is the happiest and most thankful thing. The biggest piece of luck in my life is marrying my wife," and smiled, "She is always my rock and the best. I'm truly happy."
Are there plans for a next project? Lee Dong-ha laughed, "Nothing has been decided yet," and agency officials cautiously replied, "It is under review."
When asked if there is a role he would like to take on next, he said, "I've been performing for 18 years and have played a wide range of roles. I've done melodrama, comedy, and action. I hope to show even more variety going forward. As an actor, you should naturally take on diverse roles, and if a good opportunity comes, I want to do any role—whether protagonist or antagonist, funny or pathetic, anything."
