Chef Kim Doyoon, who gained attention appearing in the Netflix series Culinary Class Wars, had his girlfriend revealed unexpectedly.
Recently, a video titled DM으로 꼬셔놓고 오빠 왜 나 태그 안 해? (with 김도윤, 김서연)ㅣ사 얼빡 1화 was posted on the production company Studio Slam's YouTube channel.
On the day, actress Kim Seoyeon appeared and described herself as "a used-new actress Kim Seoyeon." Kim Seoyeon continued, "I have been acting since I was young and then played the role of Queen Jeongan in 태종 이방원."
Kim Seoyeon's story was that her boyfriend was hiding her on social media. She opened up, saying, "I've had a boyfriend for four years. He doesn't share my story. He does what others do. He tags others' posts but doesn't tag me. He completely hides my existence online."
She added, "At first I wondered if something was up, if he was managing other relationships. I thought all kinds of things. When I asked, 'Why don't you tag me?' he said, 'What's so important about that?' My boyfriend wraps things up shortly," she complained.
At that moment her boyfriend appeared, and it was none other than Chef Kim Doyoon. It was reported that Chef Kim Doyoon applied to Culinary Class Wars at his girlfriend's urging.
When the MCs asked him about the reason, he explained, "Because if an issue suddenly arises or something happens, I might be able to go together." In other words, it was to protect his girlfriend. Chef Kim Doyoon also added that he had directly discussed it a few times.
Kim Seoyeon said, "We are currently not following each other. Not doing it is mentally easier," drawing laughter. She also showed affection, saying, "I thought my brother was popular with women. I'm always worried."
Meanwhile, Kim Seoyeon debuted in 1999 with the film Yeogo Gwidam: The Second Story and later appeared in films Real, The King, Myeongdang, and dramas Your Only Love, Vampire Detective, The Piper, Big Issue, Juvenile Justice, and others. She became widely known after playing Queen Jeongan in KBS1's 태종 이방원.
