Actor Kong Hyojin expressed envy over junior Jung Jun-won becoming a Porsche ambassador.
On the afternoon of the 1st, the MBC variety show Hangout With Yoo aired the "Jjikeoyu" episode, which depicted Yu Jae-seok, Haha, Heo Kyunghwan and Joo Woo-jae preparing season 2 of the short-form drama.
Members, including director Yu Jae-seok, held a meeting with lead actors, and the first candidate to appear was Kong Hyojin.
Kong Hyojin said she enjoyed season 1 but "Can I be honest? It felt like the back half lacked strength. I watched it thinking 'Oh this is fun~' but as it went toward the end, I thought 'Isn't it a bit of a shame to cut off there?' Actually, for me the writer's script is the most important. From what I saw, the script's lines were weak," she said, criticizing Haha's script for the weak latter half. In response, Haha said, "At that time, Kim Seok-hoon hyung kept saying he had to go shoot Curious Story Y, so I was frantically writing cue scripts too," shifting blame to others and drawing laughter.
Kong Hyojin said she hoped for romance elements and "There is an actor I would like to recommend. If that friend becomes the male lead, I would positively consider it," introducing Jung Jun-won. The two are appearing opposite each other in MBC's new Fri-Sat drama A Bona fide Killer.
Jung Jun-won sat tensely on the edge of his chair and, suspicious of the experts' quick banter, asked in a skit, "Is all of this acting right now?" Yu Jae-seok snapped, "No, I'm the director," provoking laughter.
When the members heard that Jung Jun-won currently receives a car sponsorship as a Porsche ambassador, they said, "Let's film that first," "Let's shoot anything during a break," and "It's easier to act in a car you're familiar with," planning free filming. Jung Jun-won said, "The ambassador period doesn't have much time left," and "I'm sorry. I'm so scatterbrained my head is empty," revealing the traits of a variety show novice.
Yu Jae-seok asked, "Kong Hyojin, aren't you doing a lot of ambassadorships too?" and Kong Hyojin showed ambition, saying, "I need to aim for endorsements again now."
Yu Jae-seok said, "This is your first time doing variety, right?" and Kong Hyojin confessed, "I'm a person weak in conversation. Even when talking with me, conversation doesn't flow well. If you ask 'Have you eaten?' I answer 'Yes.'"
