Debuting 20 years ago and ahead of their anniversary concert, SeeYa member Nam Gyu-ri transformed into a "fiery promotion fairy." Along with this, she released a sweet-but-ferocious arcade day-off vlog showcasing an explosive competitive streak, bringing laughter to fans.
Recently on Nam Gyu-ri's official YouTube channel "Gyulmung," a video titled "Ep.57 game lover Nam Gyu-ri's sweet-but-ferocious healing day a.k.a. arcade conquest?!" was posted.
In the released video, Nam Gyu-ri, before revealing her full daily routine, passionately promoted SeeYa's upcoming 20th anniversary national tour concert "THE FAN" for one minute, showing her professionalism as a master of her craft.
Nam Gyu-ri said, "It's our concert, but even I think this will be so much fun. It will be a time to show a different side of us and to breathe together with the audience," showing strong confidence. She added, "Tickets are still available, so hurry and buy them and please come. We will make unforgettable memories for you," delivering a heartfelt request that raised expectations.
After the warm self-promotion, Nam Gyu-ri said, "I've been practicing every day and got tired, so I thought I'd spend a pleasant day off," and headed to the arcade with staff, summoning her unexpected "game lover" main persona.
At the first stop, the shooting range, Nam Gyu-ri said, "When I played an action soldier in a drama, I fired a gun a bit," and suggested a meal bet to the staff, her eyes sparkling. Pulling the trigger without hesitation, Nam Gyu-ri shouted, "This is healing," and after a persistent competitive streak, she snatched victory by a narrow margin and enjoyed the sweet meal the staff paid for.
Next, standing in front of the claw machine, Nam Gyu-ri, aided by a helpful tip from an elementary school fan, demonstrated a skill that consecutively won two large plush toys. She seemed to turn away coolly saying, "When it gets to this point you should stop so you don't waste money," but could not hide her regret and returned to the machine, obsessively playing the claw game in an eccentric way that provoked real laughter.
After perfectly completing the conquest from motorcycle racing to dance games, Nam Gyu-ri smiled with satisfaction, saying, "My stress is completely relieved." Fully recharged by the thrilling dopamine boost, she returned to the practice room and reported that she was immersed in practice with SeeYa members Kim Yeon-ji and Lee Bo-ram, adding warmth to the update.
Meanwhile, SeeYa's 20th anniversary national tour concert "THE FAN" will be held in eight cities nationwide, starting on Aug. 29 (Sat) and 30 (Sun) at Kyung Hee University Peace Hall in Seoul, and continuing to Busan, Daegu, Suwon, Cheongju, Goyang, Incheon and Jeju.
