The homeroom teacher from middle school stepped in to end the bullying allegations about Rescene (RESCENE) member Woni.
On the 2nd, Woni's homeroom teacher for grades 2 and 3 in middle school spoke about Woni via X (formerly Twitter).
The homeroom teacher revealed the graduation album, Woni's signature, letters Woni wrote as a student, and also disclosed supportive messages and DMs from teachers who taught Woni when Woni was in middle school last June, and recalled the time teaching Woni.
The homeroom teacher said about Woni, "Performance assessments are out of 100 points, but there were many times when Woni scored near full marks on frequent unit quizzes that take the form of short tests. The 10-point score happened only once! My child was a talented student who even served as a student council officer for the whole school."
In particular, the homeroom teacher shared a photo of Woni participating in a school violence prevention campaign in front of the entire student body and added, "The students in the photo are Woni's classmates from Seongbam who have maintained ties even after graduation. Most of them were close enough to take a 2 Days & 1 Night trip together as recently as this February; they are precious students to me and remain good friends to each other. Woni could not join because of a schedule."
Earlier, a netizen accused via social media that Woni was a bully in middle school and exposed details. However, the post was quickly deleted, and when the homeroom teacher immediately stepped forward and revealed Woni's school days, the bullying allegation was put to rest.
Meanwhile, Rescene, which Woni belongs to, saw its mini album 1 released in August 2024, SCENEDROME, and its title track LOVE ATTACK surge back in popularity to reach first place on terrestrial music shows; following that, the remake single Pretty Girl achieved two music show wins, marking consecutive commercial successes.
