On the 2nd, Yang Chi-seung posted on his social account, "I have learned that recently there have been illegal scams impersonating me that demand advance payments under the pretext of PT."
Yang Chi-seung explained, "I am urgently leaving this message because I am worried that those who trust me might be harmed. As you know, I am currently taking a break from the gym business and am not conducting private PT sessions."
He added, "Also, even when I operated the gym, I would never demand or accept money first before meeting members in person and conducting a systematic face-to-face consultation. Please do not be deceived by such impersonation accounts or contacts, and take special care to avoid suffering financial harm."
Meanwhile, Yang Chi-seung said that he suffered a loss of 1.5 billion won when he closed the business due to the building's contributed acceptance issue while operating the gym. Appearing on the recently aired Boss in the Mirror, he said that the visible amount of rental scam losses for the gym is only 1.5 billion won and that it far exceeds 2 billion won.
