The other persona of the group SEVENTEEN Dino, "Picheolin," has announced a fresh wave of excitement in the music scene.
Picheolin will debut with the first mini album "吉BOARD (Gilboard)" at 6 p.m. on the 3rd. Ahead of this, on the 1st the first music video teaser for the title track "놀아보세 (prod. Hitchhiker)" was unveiled on HYBE Labels' official YouTube channel, drawing global fans' attention.
The released video contains a cheerful episode set against a familiar bus stop. The boy, who had been stiff with caution toward the stranger student sitting beside him while Picheolin read the student's cues, soon breaks into a cross-generational dance to the rhythm of "놀아보세." Their scenes of tearing down walls through music create a warm atmosphere and spark curiosity about the full version.
The new song "놀아보세" places Korea's uniquely joyful sensibility atop a sleek EDM trap beat. Dino participated in the songwriting and composition himself, infusing his musical competence, and Hitchhiker, known as a hit-maker in K-pop, produced the track and sampled the signature sound of his own hit "$10." With an immediate and highly addictive chorus up front, the ambition is to present a stage that people of all ages can enjoy.
Meanwhile, Picheolin will heighten debut excitement by releasing a second music video teaser tonight (the 2nd) at 10 p.m. Then beginning on the 6th with Mnet's "M Countdown," he plans to appear on various music shows to deliver energetic performances as his "alter ego."
