SBS variety show 'Running Man' returns to living rooms with an unpredictable spy chase and an all-time "flex" mission.
Today (2) at 6 p.m., SBS 'Running Man' will unveil the final outcome of the 'Undercover tycoon vs. detective' Race, where victory is decided after an intense psychological battle over the spy.
In today's episode, the members deduce the spies hiding in each team as the tycoon team continues a tense standoff aiming to get the money bag and the chairman's escape, while the detective team aims to arrest the chairman. Before the full-scale chase, a "tycoons' flex" mission that hung decisive hints about the spy within the team and required guessing the card limit to buy the most expensive item drew attention.
While listening to the mission rules, Yang Se-chan joked, "Do we get to keep what we buy?" showing more interest in the products than the hints and making the location burst into laughter from the start. Meanwhile, guest Jung Eun-Chae's unexpected charm exploded. At the bedding store, where she had been indifferent throughout, Jung Eun-Chae's eyes changed the moment someone suggested, "Let's buy gold," and she approached the mission more actively than anyone, unleashing her hidden "tycoon DNA" and causing the members to burst into laughter, according to reports. Jung Eun-Chae has also attracted attention for publicly dating designer Kim Choong-jae.
In the final mission, an even fiercer full-scale chase continues. As distrust of one another reached its peak, when Yang Se-chan found hints in succession, Yu Jae-seok made a bold move by ripping off Yang Se-chan's name tag and snatching the hint.
At that moment, an unexpected incident turned the scene upside down. Watching this, Ahn Bo-hyun unhesitatingly tore off the name tag of his teammate Yu Jae-seok. The set froze in an instant, and that single choice ultimately worked against Ahn Bo-hyun. Suddenly branded the "top suspect for spy," Ahn Bo-hyun vehemently protested his innocence, but no one believed him, turning the scene into uproarious laughter.
