Actor Kim Jaewon won the rookie award at the Blue Dragon Series Awards.
Kim Jaewon on July 31 at Paradise City in Incheon at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards celebrated the joy of winning the best new actor award in the drama institutional sector for the TVING original series 'Yumi's Cells season 3'.
Holding the rookie award trophy, Kim Jaewon said, "Studio Dragon and TVING and all involved parties, director Lee Sang-yeob and writer Song Jae-jung, I thank you," expressing his feelings. He added, "Thanks to senior Kim Go-eun, whom I loved and respected more than anyone while filming, I was able to learn a lot and rely on her," conveying his gratitude to Kim Go-eun, with whom he worked closely.
Kim Jaewon said, "Although I am a newcomer, I know well that receiving this award does not make me perfect. I could fall tomorrow, but I will not fear that; I will strive forward and work to become a better actor," revealing his determination.
Earlier, Kim Jaewon played the role of Shin Sun-rok in 'Yumi's Cells season 3', boasting a high sync with the original character and receiving praise from viewers. He portrayed the warm yet serious charm of Shin Sun-rok in his own colors, and completed the character's narrative convincingly with delicate emotional expression and stable acting.
Meanwhile, Kim Jaewon on the day danced the "Catch Catch" dance with Choi Yena, who came for the Blue Dragon Series Awards celebration performance, and also showed his role as MUSIC BANK bank director.
