The movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day continued its overwhelming box office success, surpassing 2 million cumulative viewers on its fourth day of release.
As of 12:05 a.m. on the 1st, according to the integrated box office network, Spider-Man: Brand New Day (director Destin Cretton) surpassed 2,107,469 cumulative viewers. The film drew 526,075 viewers during the previous day alone, marking the fourth day since release that it has surpassed 2 million cumulative viewers.
This is the fastest box office pace among films released this year. Not only that, it is faster than Avatar, which drew 13.33 million viewers and ranked ninth on the all-time box office, and 12.12: The Day, which drew 13.12 million viewers and ranked tenth. Both of those films previously surpassed 2 million cumulative viewers on their sixth day after release.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the fourth series film released five years after Spider-Man: No Way Home, which premiered in 2021, and tells the story of Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland), who, erased from memory by past events, falls into deeper chaos after gaining uncontrollable powers due to DNA mutation.
On its opening day on the 29th of last month, it drew 680,000 viewers, breaking the series' highest opening record.
