Model Jang Yoon-ju confessed to an anecdote about dating, before her marriage in her 20s, the youngest son of a fashion designer despite opposition.
On the 1st, Jang Yoon-ju mentioned her ex-boyfriend, whom she dated in her 20s despite her parents' opposition, in new content released on her YouTube channel "Yoonjure Jang Yoon-ju."
In this content, Jang Yoon-ju said that all of her former boyfriend's parents opposed the relationship because of prejudice against the profession of modeling, and she attracted attention by saying, "I even met someone who opposed it. Even if they opposed it, if you like them."
Jang Yoon-ju revealed an anecdote about continuing to date despite her boyfriend's parents' opposition when she was in her 20s. She said, "I was in my early 20s and they really didn't like that I was doing this, and coincidentally his mother was a fashion designer. So in the fashion industry, the rumor circulated that Jang Yoon-ju was dating that fashion designer's youngest son."
She continued, "When people saw me, their reactions were worry and 'Are you sure that mom will be okay with this? Does she like you seeing him? Did she give permission?'" and candidly added, "It was the kind of relationship everyone in the fashion industry knew about, like 'She doesn't seem to like it much, I don't know.' It made it more intense. We loved each other more and were more fond of each other."
She then confessed that she and her boyfriend spent tender times in Paris. Jang said, "At that time I had an opportunity to stand in the Paris collection and went to Paris alone. That boyfriend came all the way to Paris. During the remaining schedule we made a lot of good memories. We went up the Eiffel Tower, up Montmartre hill, and there was a bar we frequented that held memories."
Jang said, "While we were enjoying ourselves, suddenly a call came from Korea. It wasn't the roaming era, so there was a phone usable in Paris. Suddenly someone said, 'This is so-and-so's sister-in-law. Is he next to you?' So I handed the phone over. She said his mother was very displeased that the young man went to Paris to see you and was worried."
Jang said, "I thought it was understandable since he went to Paris without telling anyone, and they conveyed that to him. They both cried their eyes out then. That's how the 'letter sent to Paris by his father' came about. Seven to eight years later an album came out, and when that album was released he came to our house."
