Comedian Shin Dong-yeob mentioned the importance of teaching greetings at home.
On July 31, Sung Si Kyung's YouTube channel featured Shin Dong-yeob filming "Meok-eul Tende" together.
Meeting at a Chinese restaurant that day, Shin Dong-yeob expressed his view, "There is something I tell my son and daughter fairly often. I don't touch them and I don't nag, but I tell them, 'Greet people properly when you go out.'"
Shin Dong-yeob said, "In our villa, when the security guard greets you warmly, you should say hello. Tell your family to greet each other too. As fewer people greet others, if you still greet well when you get older, it becomes somewhat rare," he explained.
He added, "These days no one greets, but those kids do, right? If someone greets well, you feel a similar impression and your attention goes to that person, and you feel like you'd want to work with them," saying, "This fried dumpling is like that," which drew laughter.
Meanwhile, Shin Dong-yeob married MBC producer Sun Hye-yoon in 2006 and has one son and one daughter. In particular, his eldest daughter, Shin Ji-hyo, drew attention this year by enrolling in the department of physical education at Seoul National University.
