2PM recalled filming a commercial that required them to take off clothes as the "original beast idol".
On July 31, a video titled "Original northern big shot 2PM and Wagle" was posted on the YouTube channel Channel Fullmoon.
That day, producer Na Young-seok asked the 2PM members, "Even now and especially in the past, weren't there memories of it being hard or burdensome to manage your body?" The members raised their voices, saying, "Oh, there are so many," and Na Young-seok asked, "Did you all build your bodies?"
Junho said, "I did build it at that time," and Wooyoung recalled, "A gym isn't open 24 hours, so there's a closing time. They close the shutters, and if we finish at 1 to 2 a.m. and need to work out, they reopen for us then."
Junho said, "If we worked 18 or 20 hours and came home, we could usually sleep four hours but we would spend two hours exercising," and Jun. K explained, "Because we kept doing many commercial shoots where we had to take off clothes for the image."
Junho said, "All the commercials required us to take off clothes. Only if we took them off could we sign [the contract]," and Jun. K added, "The contract money comes in only if we take off clothes." As a result, in underwear commercials and water park commercials, all the members revealed their bodies.
Na Young-seok asked, "Underwear or water park, taking off isn't strange, but for other things, is it necessary to make you take off?" Junho replied, "There was a brownie commercial."
When Na Young-seok asked, "Why a chocolate snack?" Taecyeon answered, "Because of chocolate abs," drawing laughter. Jun. K said, "That idea was art," and Junho marveled, "It's not an ad that could be made these days."
