Sleepy revealed why work dried up after his marriage.
On July 30, a video titled "Sleepy couple's IVF success story" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Sleepy, right?"
That day Sleepy appeared with his wife Kim Na-hyun, and then said, "You call leaving childcare 'yuktoe' when you sleep, so what do you call daycare?" His wife laughed and said, "A brief release?" The two headed to a hotel buffet, and Sleepy explained, "We go to a good buffet to eat, and we come here often."
The production team asked about the two's love story, and Sleepy said, "We didn't do it much on broadcasts. When my wife and I said we were getting married, a dozen or so programs asked us to appear together, but my wife refused them all."
His wife Kim Na-hyun said, "It was a bit burdensome," and Sleepy said, "Of course it was burdensome. I wasn't someone who did variety shows, but all the famous offers came. When she refused them all, my work dried up."
Sleepy said, "Because there was no place that wanted only me. Then a few years passed and we filmed 'Same Bed, Different Dreams'," and his wife said, "That's right. We decided to film it with determination."
Meanwhile, Sleepy married a non-celebrity wife eight years his junior in 2022 and has one son and one daughter.
