Allegations have emerged that Hollywood star Jared Leto, who has been embroiled in sexual misconduct scandals, made bizarre demands on a film set.
A production source from last year's released film "Tron: Ares" told U.S. entertainment outlet Page Six on the 30th (local time) that Jared Leto demanded on set that people "not even make eye contact."
The source said, "During the shoot, Leto made a number of strange demands. He demanded that actors and crew must not make eye contact with him in any form."
The source also claimed that Leto was reportedly maintaining a "fish-only diet," and that because of his dietary restrictions he requested that a fisherman be brought to the set to catch and prepare fresh fish every day.
The source said, "The film company did not hire a dedicated fisherman, but it is true that they were busy trying to see whether it was actually possible."
They added, "Known for method acting, Leto refused to speak when out of character." However, they said they had never seen him behave in a sexually inappropriate way on set.
Jared Leto is facing controversy after a BBC documentary, "Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret," aired allegations that multiple women, including minors, accused him of rape and sexual assault.
The documentary featured several women using pseudonyms, including "Isabel," "Alex," "Clara," and "Etta," who allege sexual misconduct by Jared Leto when they were teenagers.
Jared Leto issued a statement saying, "I have never raped anyone in my life," and that the claims in the documentary are "absolutely and categorically false."
Jared Leto has appeared in films such as "Panic Room," "Dallas Buyers Club," "Suicide Squad," "House of Gucci," "Morbius," and "Tron: Ares," and is also the frontman of the band Thirty Seconds to Mars.
