Actor Kim Min-ha will be the face of the 31st Busan International Film Festival.
On the 31st, her agency Noon Company announced that actor Kim Min-ha has been selected as the sole host of the opening ceremony of the 31st Busan International Film Festival.
The 31st Busan International Film Festival will be held for 10 days from Oct. 6 (Tue) to Oct. 15 (Thu) around the Busan Cinema Center. The Busan International Film Festival solidified its international standing further last year by introducing a competition section and successfully establishing it.
Kim Min-ha, who will serve as the sole host of the opening ceremony, debuted in 2016 and made her name and face known to the public by playing the young Sunja in Apple TV's Pachinko. Since then, she has shown a wide acting range across multiple genres, appearing in the drama Light Shop, Way Back Love, Typhoon Family, and the film Hana Korea.
Expectations are rising for the solid yet confident hosting Kim Min-ha will show at this year's Busan International Film Festival.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Kim Min-ha opened up about losing weight, saying, "I lost 16 to 17kg over two years. I lost the weight by eating one small meal a day without the help of obesity medications."
