'Spider-Man' star Tom Holland asked audiences to avoid spoilers.
On the 31st, Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon and Jon Bernthal, the leads of the film Spider-Man: Brand New Day (director Destin Cretton, distributed by Sony Pictures), surprised fans in Korea by releasing a special video to celebrate surpassing 1 million domestic viewers.
The released video draws attention as a "no spoilers" clip filmed by the three actors appearing in casual attire.
At that time, the three addressed Korean fans, saying, "Don't forget to watch 'Spider-Man'! We are counting down the days until you see the movie."
They continued, "But don't end up like me. Please refrain from spoilers for the sake of others," and "Don't be a spoiler villain!," delivering a message asking viewers to hold back spoilers to protect other audience members' immersion.
Meanwhile, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which opened on the 29th, is leading the box office after surpassing 1 million viewers within two days of its release.
