The film Hope, which continues its long-running box office heat, will hold stage greetings on its fourth week of release on Aug. 7 (Fri), Aug. 8 (Sat) and Aug. 9 (Sun).
Director Na Hong-jin, Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung and Jung Ho-yeon will visit CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall and CGV Yeongdeungpo Times Square in succession on Aug. 7 (Fri) to meet audiences. On the following fourth-weekend of release, director Na Hong-jin, Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Jung Ho-yeon and Um Mun-seok will travel between Daejeon and the Seoul·Gyeonggi·Incheon areas to hold special meetings with audiences. On Aug. 8 (Sat) they will meet audiences and offer abundant fan service at Megabox Daejeon Hyundai Outlet, Megabox Daejeon Shinsegae Art & Science, Lotte Cinema Daejeon (department store), CGV Daejeon and CGV Daejeon Terminal. On Aug. 9 (Sun) they will express their gratitude to audiences who visited Hope in its fourth week at Megabox Songdo (Triple Street), CGV Incheon, CGV Sopung, Lotte Cinema Gimpo Airport and CGV Yeouido.
Hope is a work that tells the story of Beom-seok, the head of the Hopo port branch office located in the demilitarized zone, who hears from local youths that a tiger has appeared, and as the whole village goes on alert, encounters an unbelievable reality, and it is approaching 4 million admissions.
Meanwhile, on the 29th a post alleging private life suspicions about Hwang Jung-min was published on SNS. The accuser, a person surnamed A, claimed on their SNS that they had an inappropriate relationship with Hwang Jung-min and released recordings of audio, recordings of conversations and captures of mobile messenger chats.
Hwang Jung-min's side said of person A that they were a "suspect of stalking crimes who continuously harassed" and "filed a criminal complaint against the writer.
