'Ice-face YouTuber' and influencer Yoo Hye-ju suffered the loss of her father one day after pausing her activities.
On the 30th, OSEN confirmed that Yoo Hye-ju's father passed away on the 23rd. The deceased was reported to have been battling cancer.
The wake was set up in a special room at the Busan Haeundae Paik Hospital funeral hall, and the funeral was held on the 25th. Yoo Hye-ju, including Yoo Hyun-ju and Yoo Ji-yu, and other siblings totaling five and sons-in-law were listed as mourners.
Earlier, Yoo Hye-ju announced the suspension of her YouTube activities three days after giving birth. At the time she announced, "To spend time caring for each other with family members, the Rejurelike channel will take a short break."
Yoo Hyun-ju and Yoo Ji-yu, daily-life creators who are Yoo Hye-ju's siblings, also announced via YouTube that they would pause channel operations.
Meanwhile, Yoo Hye-ju is a YouTuber with 1.11 million subscribers and in 2019 married Jo Jung-yeon, a former Korean Air Lines purser, and has two sons.
