Group ITZY member Yuna will be absent from the fan signing event due to health issues.
On the 30th, JYP Entertainment explained Yuna's health condition through official channels.
The agency said, "Yuna recently visited a hospital with high fever symptoms, and after a detailed internal medicine examination, a specialist concluded she was diagnosed with inflammation and requires hospitalization and treatment."
It added, "Therefore, Yuna will be unable to attend the events below," and explained she will miss the fan signing events on Aug. 1 and 2. The events will be attended by members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, and Chaeryeong.
The agency said, "We sincerely apologize to the fans who have been waiting for causing concern with this sudden news," and "The company will prioritize the artist's health and do its best to ensure sufficient treatment and recovery."
Meanwhile, ITZY will hold their fifth official fan meeting, ITZY The 5th Fan Meeting 있지 믿지, 날자! "ALL IN, MIDZY" ("All in, Midzy"), at Olympic Hall in Songpa District, Seoul, on Aug. 8 and 9.
