Broadcaster An Sun-young explained the controversy over exaggerated advertising.
On the 28th, a video titled '1.5 million views that video… I will explain' was posted on the YouTube channel An Sun-young's double life.
She referred to a previously uploaded gray hair cover treatment advertisement video and recalled, "They said the stock of the product that was supposed to be sold for half a year is all gone. There was such a frenzy that product sales could not continue."
She added, "If buyers had been satisfied I would have been applauded, but they said, 'I trusted you and bought it, but it doesn't color at all,'" and said, "It felt like I was slapped 48,000 times."
An Sun-young emphasized, "I have never engaged in exaggeration, Director, or false advertising even once. I wouldn't do it for any amount of money. I will continue broadcasting until I am 70 or 80 years old."
She apologized, saying, "It was that the explanation of how to use it was wrong," and, "It is correct that it does not dye. It is a treatment that, the more you use it, the more color builds up to create a natural color like my original hair. I explained it incorrectly."
