On Radio Star, singer Gangnam revealed a Pokémon card collection of enormous value that he had hidden in a 007 bag.
On the 29th episode of MBC's Radio Star, as part of the "Miracle Ras" special, Yoon Mi-ra, Gangnam, Han Da-gam and Park Ji-hyun appeared together.
Gangnam grabbed attention by bringing out his hobby collection of Pokémon cards and filling a 007 bag with them. He then took out a Pikachu card and revealed the amount was "more than 10 million won," causing a stir in the studio. Seeing this, MC Kim Gu Ra said, "You're crazy," and delivered a blunt comment that drew laughter.
Later, when Kim Gu Ra asked, "How much did you spend? Does Lee Sang-hwa know?" asking about his wife's reaction, Gangnam replied frankly, "I don't know. She knows about these two, but I don't think she knows the rest."
Especially, Gangnam took out a rare card that is hard to find and asked, "You can't get this at all. How much would it be?" then shocked the cast by unexpectedly saying, "This is 800 million won."
He added, "But if you look at this you see the number. This is perfect. It's 2016. If this were from 1999 it would be about 800 million won," explaining the huge difference in value depending on card grade and year and increasing the astonishment.
